CCT BLOG

First and foremost – we are not a martial arts, fighting or MMA club.

There is no ART in violence.

CCT is not about fighting.

CCT is about returning home safely to your loving family, children and friends.

It's about not ending up on the defendant's bench or in a hospital bed. We want your life to continue as you know it now (before the situation found you) and not worry that someone seeks revenge on you.

Self-defence is much more than just striking, kicking, etc.

It involves knowledge about proper behaviours/reactions when attacked, assaulted, threatened, intimidated or abused. It encompasses behaviours related to self-protection and conflict de-escalation.

Self-defence means we have a moral, legal and ethical right to defend ourselves and others in threatening situations (after exhausting all other options).

Learning to defend yourself and your loved ones is a challenging endeavour.

It's a serious subject and your training should reflect that. Our classes will challenge you, educate you, improve your fitness and conditioning and most importantly, provide you with a genuine understanding of modern violence and how to deal with it.
